Yo-Yo Ma played air cello at Inauguration

First of all, best link title ever. Second of all, standing at Inauguration, listening to this piece, I had a couple of thoughts: 1) Inauguration + Classical (style, at least) Music = All kinds of awesome. 2) Simple Gifts is one of my favorite songs! Especially Allison Krauss’ version (go find it, I think it’s on wikipedia) 3) I’ve played Air before! Sweet! 4) Air plus simple gifts? Really? I’m not sure how they’ll go together…(still not sure, looking back) 5) John Williams is arranging the piece?!?! …Boy, this is going to be interesting. (And it was. Still not sure how I felt about it. I have my times with John Williams).
